You may sense a theme. A panelist drops out and I get brought in. This time by Carol Roth who was doing co-hosting duties that year with Liz Strauss. Carol is great on the mic and keeps us all on target for a much more entertaining panel than it should have been. It helped that Gary Goldstein, who has producing credits on Pretty Woman and Under Siege, and Laura Fitton (aka Pistachio) who served as a long time evangelist for Hubspot.
SOBCon was Liz Strauss’s brainchild. Inspired partially by Chris Pirillo and partially by the way her dad ran his bar. During the 2012 Liz lost her voice. Carol stepped up and helped run the show.
